Mastectomy Education
A diagnosis of breast cancer is a situation we all live in fear of - for ourselves and our loved ones. But should such a situation occur, patient and family education and support are vital.
Mastectomy education and support is available on an individual basis at the Madison Community Hospital. Our program assists patients with pre and post surgery education and care, regardless of where their procedure is performed.
We understand the fear of diagnosis of breast cancer and provide education and support to patients and their families. The education is provided by a team of Registered Nurses, and Physical and Occupational Therapist. We provide referrals to the "Reach for Recovery Program" as well as other resources.
